David Bowman is Ahmed Manea & Partners’ Deputy Managing Partner and Head of Real Estate, with more than twenty-five years’ experience in the UAE and UK. He has been recognised as a Key Lawyer in the Legal 500 UAE real estate rankings.

Areas of Focus

His practice focuses on complex real estate investment, development and regulatory matters across the UAE, with particular depth in Abu Dhabi. He advises government and government-related entities, sovereign-backed investors, developers, financial institutions, occupiers and international companies.

David’s experience spans strategic development projects, joint ventures, land transactions, property finance and cross-border investment, alongside commercial, retail and residential leasing and hospitality agreements.

He has also advised Abu Dhabi government authorities on real estate legislation and regulatory initiatives. This experience informs his advice to investors entering or expanding in the UAE market.

David maintains long-standing client relationships, providing ongoing advice on development structuring, property portfolios and market entry, supported by local market knowledge and an international perspective.
